RSL Victoria is a registered charity and member-based organisation. Colac RSL was opened by Governor General – George Edward John Mowbray Rous, 3rd Earl of Stradbroke in 1921 part of the Victorian branch of the  Returned & Services League of Australia (RSL Australia).

We dedicate ourselves to providing support, services and social connection to veterans and their families at all stages of the transition into civilian life. Colac RSL today is a much different establishment from that formed more than a century ago but its charter remains the same – to honour, support and care for Australia’s service men and women.
